| Hey there,

| So, what did you think about the last race in Monaco ? In my mind, I found it quite boring, because all the race was disputed in pit lane (but it often happens in Monaco when there is no rain). And after 5 laps, everybody expected Button win the race, because Kimi was overtaken by Barrichello in the first turn. However I'm always surprised by F1 drivers who negotiate the Loews' curve on 60Km/h. |

so, speak in english here, but i think we coud duplicate this topic in other language later... |

When you win at Monaco it's special because, alone great drivers were won here. Sorry for my english ^^ |

Sorry for my english ^^ Even if a lot of english words look like in french, be careful to do not speak english like you speak french. I'm agree : it's the mistake that many Frogs make, because in french, the verb "be" is used. Pay attention : Je suis d'accord is I agree in english(never use "be"). And it's better to say "Only great drivers win in Monaco" than "alone". But I agree with you. Monaco is the only track where everybody can win. But in fact, the track is so difficult that only Champions win there, Ayrton Senna for example. |

No, I don't think so. I can't pretend my english is good because, I can't speak fast, I don't get very well a film without subtitles and sometimes it's difficult for me to understand what I'm said. Moreover, I would like to speak with a British accent ('cause I don't like the american one), but it's very difficult and my accent is often crap. But I have to work my english, because I think it's underlying nowadays to speak at least an other language as the own. And I would like to study abroad for one year. So, I bought some books written in english, and I try to speak english every time it's possible. Unfortunately, nobody in my family has foreign origins, and few of them have a good english (except my aunt's husband who is english). But it's not the main subject here. I just proposed to open a topic to discuss about F1 in english.

| Bon je vais m'y essayer:
I can't express my mind on this GP, I did'nt see the race for sports reasons. But it seems that Bourdais had made a good race with its camel. |

| I hope Massa will success in Istanbul Park, it's a track where he feels good. It would be funny if Button and Brawn GP got a severe licking, even if may be difficult (because overtaking in Istanbul Park is hard). Massa needs to do the best time on qualifying session if he wants to fight for the win. |

| May it happen a real problem to Brawn GP this year ? Their engines and gearboxes look like so reliable... However I think Jenson Button will forsake once at least during the season, because of a pilot error or a mechanical failure. Formula One will lose a lot of fans if the Branw Gps don't have any problem, and in a context of economic crisis, it smells like shit. |

| Everyone thought that Button would not be the best all while the season but I'm going to think we were wrong. For sure, on one or two races he will be beaten by a driver like Massa or Hamilton, Vettel but I think he will easily be champion. But I don't understand how can Brawn GPs be such better than the other teams. There are many thing I could not explain... |

But I don't understand how can Brawn GPs be such better than the other teams. There are many thing I could not explain... Yes, I think so. Before the practice sessions of winter, nobody expected Button would be the best. But as private practice sessions are now forbidden between two races, I don't think any driver will compete with Brawn GP, even Alonso, Massa or Hamilton. Now, the others top teams have not enough time to progress, Ross Brawn managed this bargain very well. (I'm not sure that the sentence I made its bold is correct. I think you have to say "I don't understand how Brawn GP can be so much better than the others one". Unless "such" is the contracted form to mean "so much", but you may be right because your english is quite good, and I don't pretend mine is perfect). |

| Yes I forgot that private sessions was now forbidden. Of course it can explain some things but... In China the Red Bulls was really better than the Brawn Gps, so why ? The rain ? The track ?
(Yes I did a mistake, I placed Brawn Gps after can as if it was a question. And such I think is the same as so much. And I think your English is better than mine, because I know my vocabulary is not extended enough.)
I would like to say this topic is a good idea, I can practice English far from school and it is a good opportunity to make it better ^^ |

| Unfortunately, french highschool is not the best place to learn english. If you never use somewhere else, your level will never be good, except if you're in a European Highschool. But it doesn't mean that a forum like this one is better than highschool. Unless someone among us is a english teacher, nobody here has a perfect english. But you can learn effectively with books, and films. In some bookshops, you can buy british novels. It's what I did, and now I think my english is better than before. Everytime I have the opportunity to improve my english (to talk with people, or read books), I never let it escape.
But it's not the main subject here. I think it's a pity to have lost the Canadian and French GPs this year. Canadian GP was a very important event, because this track was particular and races always were eventful (crashes were numerous and the Safety-Car often deployed). As to French GP, it's a big problem, because in France, people is not as interested as British or Germans by motor sports, even if there was a GP at Magny-Cours. And I think, this year Formula One lost a lot of french fans. |

Of course it can explain some things but... In China the Red Bulls was really better than the Brawn Gps, so why ? The rain ? The track ? I think it was because the rain. The Red Bull is good, but the Brawn GP is better. Toyota lowered level because of the new rules who prohibit the private sessions. Toyota has introduced some modifications but they're bad, and they couldn't see if they were good without private sessions. (Scuse me if my english isn't very good ^^) |

| By the way, Socha, don't forget to give your pronostics for Turkish GP, unlike last time. Our team need a good result, otherwise it's impossible to compete with the other players. Our team didn't began well yet... |

I will do it Déménagement : a moving. If you talk about your own house, it's better to say "home" instead of "house". And always say "don't worry" and not "worried". Ok, I hope I can trust you. |
